I Gave My Room a Makeover

New year, new room! I’ve always shared a bedroom and bathroom with my sister, so her moving out is a huge change for me. I’m obviously going to miss her, but having my own space (and her own space) is long overdue. I decided to make the most of it by redecorating and rearranging furniture!

My Experience as a Vegetarian

It’s been about 8 months since I completely stopped eating meat, so I have been vegetarian for almost a year now. As someone that loved McDonald’s and sashimi so much, I’m surprised that I was able to change. No, I don’t eat salads at every meal. I’ve learned how to cook more meals while figuring out how to order at restaurants without feeling left out.

I used to be someone who never thought I could even attempt to learn a new language, and I’m still blown away at the fact that I went from a baby with no comprehension of language to someone who is known for writing their own blog. If you have enough patience, passion, and motivation, then you’ll easily find success with your learnings.

Do you want to write to someone from another state or country but don’t know where to start? Do you think you don’t have the money to be a penpal? It turns out that there is not one way to write to someone, which means that your mail can be as simple or extravagant as you want. Having a penpal is about making a friendship and taking time to have fun the old fashioned way. Whether you want to send gifts and letters or just letters, and the endless ideas and topics are just the beginning of the fun.

Confidence in a Callous World

The first thing that comes to mind when I think of confidence is what someone thinks when looking in the mirror, but there are types of confidence in every aspect of life. There is so much hate that the world is projecting onto you, and not caring what everyone else thinks is the most admirable way to fight negativity with positivity. It’s tiring to follow what everyone else likes and does, but it is so liberating to stray from the path that is expected. I don’t see myself or anyone being able to be one-hundred percent confident all the time, so I’m making note of helpful tips to gain or regain faith in yourself.
